Thanks to everyone who gives presentations at RAILcph. Below is some practical information about the conference for you as a speaker.
One lecturer for each lecture participates for free. If you give the presentation alone, you therefore participate for free, and can participate in the entire conference and the subsequent dinner.
If you have allergies or anything else we need to take into account for lunch and dinner, please let us know by using the form you receive in connection with your registration.
If your lecture is in the morning session (10:45-12:15), 35-40 minutes are set aside for your presentation followed by questions, a total of 40-43 minutes (so there are a few minutes for introduction and the conference participants can switch between different sessions ).

To avoid unnecessary disruption during the presentations, we ask all speakers to stay within the above time frames. This will ensure that the audience has enough time to get from one room to the next between two presentations.
There will be a moderator in the room. The moderator will present you and your presentation before you start. The moderator will also be helpful in keeping track of time so that your presentation ends on time. After your presentation, the moderator will help you keep track of questions from the floor.
Please send your presentation to conference@banebranchen.dk no later than two working days before the conference. This way you are sure that your presentation is ready for you on the PC before your lecture. Should there be any changes to your presentation after it has been submitted, please bring a new version of your presentation on a USB connector, which will be handed in at registration on the actual conference day. Your presentation must be submitted in either .pdf or .pptx format.
After the conference, all presentations will be shared on the conference website. Should there be parts of your presentation that may not be shared, please give written notice of this by using the form below. It is important that you have the rights to all text and all images included in your presentation.
There will be an LCD projector and a laptop computer available in the room. The laptop computer is running a Windows operating system with both PowerPoint and Acrobat Reader installed. In addition, there will be a headset with a microphone and a laser pointer. We ask all our speakers to use the headset so that everyone in the hall can hear the presentation.
Should you require additional equipment, please contact us using the form below. However, additional presentation equipment cannot be guaranteed.
In the updated conference program, you can see when in the day and in which room your lecture will take place. The online program contains a brief description of all lectures. If you want the description changed, please send a message via the form below.
All speakers are invited to be present in the respective rooms 5-10 minutes before their presentation. The moderator will be in the room to help you.
