Following the success of our trips in 2024 and 2025, Banebranchen once again invites railway enthusiasts – students and association members – to join us on an unforgettable journey into the heart of the railway industry. This time, the destination is the Spanish city of Barcelona.
Here, you will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and experience advanced railway operations and manufacturing up close.
Trip highlights (the final itinerary is subject to change):
Day 1: Morning flight from Copenhagen to Barcelona. Coach transfer to La Farga’s copper wire factory in Les Masies de Voltregà, followed by transfer to a hotel near Barcelona. Free time in the evening.
Day 2: Full-day visit to Alstom’s rolling stock factory in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, one of the most advanced facilities in Europe. Free time in the evening.
Day 3: Visit to Mosdorfer Rail and their production facilities for catenary components in Granollers. Free time in the afternoon. Evening flight back to Copenhagen.
